Beverly Yvonne McCarty

Beverly Yvonne McCarty, 80, of Franklin passed away on Saturday, May 4, 2019 at UPMC Northwest in Seneca.Born on November 28, 1938, she was the daughter of the late Clair Richard and Merriam (Hutchinson) Burkhardt.A loving mother and homemaker, Beverly loved to read, crochet, bake, and most of all, spend time with her family.Left to cherish Beverly's memory is her two sons, Brain McCarty of Polk, and Daniel McCarty and his wife, Christie, of Franklin; her daughter, Lisa Heffern and her husband, Scott, of Polk; her four grandchildren, Amy Heffern of Pittsburgh, Chad Clark of Summerville, SC, and Jewel and Reagan McCarty of Franklin; and her sister, Linda McKinney of Oil City.In addition to her parents, Beverly was preceded in death by her brother, Richard Burkhardt.Family and friends will be received on Wednesday, May 8, 2019 at the Gardinier Funeral Home, Inc., 1315 Chestnut Street, Franklin, PA 16323, from 3 pm to 7 pm.Funeral services for Beverly will be held on Thursday, May 9, 2019 at the funeral home beginning at 10 am, with Reverend Larry A.
