I have so many warm memories of Aunt Betty, but mostly, even after all these years and living so far away, I think of her laugh. It was the warmest and sweetest. I’m so sad to think of her being gone. Much love to all the family as you adjust to this absence.
I was one of the lucky ones to get to be friends with Ray and Betty. I have 2 dolls that Betty specifically made for me….I even had her sign them. What wonderful memories I have of our times together. She is finally with Ray. My condolences go out to her family. She certainly was a bright spot in my life.
So sorry for your loss. There’s not enough space to share everything that was special about Aunt Betty. There are so many memories of get-togethers, the Brigg’s Reunion’s, Bible Studies, just hanging out to talk or play games. We will truly miss her presence here, but look forward to eternity, knowing she will be there with so many other family members. Praying for all of you as you enter the next chapter of your lives. May you find hope, peace, strength, and comfort to carry you one day at a time and may the precious memories strengthen the bonds between those who remain, but will one day, just as Aunt Betty, be at peace in Jesus loving arms. Gary and I will be thinking of you this weekend as you get one last glimpse of what is here and now, only to one day see Aunt Betty in her glorified body that will no longer be subject to the consequences of sin.
