Barbara L. Bittenbender, 64, passed away December 1, 2017, at The Caring Place in Franklin. She was born on May 10, 1953, in Franklin, to the late Robert Brice Mauk and Mae Reynolds Mauk- Roberts. Barbara is survived by her daughter; Melanie Craig of York, PA, her brother; Robert F. Mauk of Carlton, PA, her sisters; Cheryl Bacher and her husband, William of Franklin, and Amy Johnson and her life partner, Joyce Schwuchow of John's Island, SC. Also, surviving are two grandchildren; Christopher Craig and Megan Craig. Barbara was very involved in activities at The Caring Place. The family would like to Thank the Staff of The Caring Place and the Aseracare Hospice for all their kindness they have provided.All services will be held at a later date at the convenience of the family. I am so very sorry to hear of Barb’s passing. I grew up with Barb – we were not only neighbors but friends in our school years. She was such a sweet young lady! My deepest sympathy to her daughter, grandchildren & brother & sisters. God bless. RIP Barb. Fly high with the Angels.
