Barbara A. Lepley Barbara A. Lepley, 76, of Meadville Pike, Franklin, died at 3:30 p.m. on Monday, October 17, 2011 at her residence. Born November 10, 1934 in Oil City, PA, she was the daughter of the late George and Anna Lux VanDyke. She was married on April 19, 1956 to Paul M. Lepley, who preceded her in death August 2, 1977. Mrs. Lepley worked as a cook for the Valley Grove School District for 27 years until her retirement in 1985. Barbara was a member of the Atlantic Avenue United Brethren Church, where she was involved in the ladies Bible study group. She enjoyed camping and spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Barbara is survived by her children, Paul M. Lepley and his wife, Deb of Franklin, Randy A. Lepley and his wife, Teresa of Franklin, and Debra Wilson of Cooperstown; 4 grandchildren, Joshua Wilson and Nathan Wilson both of Cooperstown, and Wayne Lepley and Rose Lepley both of Franklin; 6 step-grandchildren, Bill Wilson and his wife, Marcy of Franklin, Julie Wilson of Franklin, Nicci Clulow and her husband, Steve of Cochranton, Diane Cummings and her husband, Darren of Sarasota, FL, Heather Hummel of Charleston, SC, and Charlie Perish and her husband, Riley of Baltimore; 10 great-grandchildren; her brother, Tom VanDyke and his wife, Barb of Fort Myers, FL; and several nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents and husband, Mrs. Lepley was preceded in death by her son-in-law and great-granddaughter. Friends will be received at the Gardinier Funeral Home, Inc., 1315 Chestnut Street, Franklin on Wednesday, October 19, 2011 from 3-7 p.m. Funeral Services will be held on Thursday, October 20, 2011 at 11:00 a.m. at the Atlantic Avenue United Brethren Church, 160 Atlantic Ave., Franklin. Rev. Steve Clulow, pastor of the Cochranton Community Church, will officiate and will be assisted by Rev. Gary Small, pastor of the Atlantic Avenue United Brethren Church. Interment will follow in Bethel Cemetery. The family suggests memorials be made to the American Diabetes Association, 300 Penn Center Blvd., Suite 700, Pittsburgh, PA 15235-5507 or to the charity of one's choice.
