Avadean King Dilley, 96, of Union City, passed away, Wednesday, November 21, 2018 at Corry Manor. She was born on January 2, 1922 a daughter of Fred B. King and Edith Wilkins King. She married Fred R. Dilley on September 8, 1938. He preceded her in passing on January 26, 1976. She was a member of the Union City Christian and Missionary Alliance Church and had attended the former Bloomfield School. Avadean had worked as a school bus driver from 1945 to 1958, Molded Fiber Glass Company from 1965 to 1973, Corry Hiebert 1973 to 1987, and she was a caregiver 1988 to 1999. She is survived a daughter, Asenath Mylinda Dilley Wright of Union City; a grandson, Christopher Philip Wright of Union City; a sister-in-law, Shirley King of Brookville; and several nieces and nephews. In addition to her husband and parents; she was preceded in death by a grandson, Matthew Florian Wright on April 24, 1969; two sisters, Rena Belle King LaBue and Adra King; and a brother, Fred W. King. Family and friends are welcome to call on Sunday, November 25th from 1:00pm to 2:00pm at the Union City Christian and Missionary Alliance Church, 2 Dowman Street, Union City. The funeral service will follow at 2:00pm with Pastor Tom Hunsberger, officiating. Burial will take place in Chapinville Cemetery.
