Anthony W. Vito, 60, of Union City, passed away, Thursday, March 7, 2024 at his home surrounded by his loving family. He was born on May 9, 1963 in Kane, Pennsylvania a son of Eugene J. Vito, Sr. and Diane Frances Engle. He married Wayne A. Trask on March 24, 2015 but they have been together for 34 years.
He was a graduate of Kane High School and went on to further his education at Jamestown Community College graduating with an Associates Degree in Nursing. He was employed as a traveling nurse specializing in long term care.
Anthony served his country with the United States Army and was a member of the National Directors of Nursing Association where he served as a past president of the Pennsylvania Chapter.
In his spare time he enjoyed camping, NASCAR in his earlier years, but most of all he loved being an uncle and great uncle.
In addition to his spouse, Wayne A. Trask of Union City; he is survived by nieces, Amber McKinzie and her spouse Corey of Starkville, Mississippi, Danielle Vito and her spouse Haley of Athens, Georgia, Raegen Vito and her fiance, Dan of Kane, Selina Vito and her fiancé Ben of Kane, Catalina Vito and her fiancé Chris of Warren, Pennsylvania, and Gina Marie Nolan of Reno, Nevada; four great nephews, Kaden McKinzie and Carter Asel, Benny, and Alex; two great nieces, Amelia Nelson, and Kaitlyn; a sister in law, Vina Veto of Kane; brother in law William Trask or Orland, Florida; and several aunts and uncles.
Anthony was preceded in death by his mother; a brother, Eugene J. Vito, Jr.; a nephew, Anthony Anderson; and grandmothers, Regina Engle and Mary Kepler.
Services will be private.
