Annabelle M. Reisinger “Bema”, 79, of Franklin passed away at UPMC Northwest, Seneca on April 28, 2025 with her family at her side.
Born on November 8, 1945 in Oil City, she was the daughter of the late Jessie E. (Kay) Lingler.
Annabelle retired in 2004 after working many years for Polk Center.
On February 5, 1965, she married James “Pemp” Reisinger. They were married 45 years until his passing on December 29, 2010.
Annabelle was a member of the Franklin VFW Jesse Greer Post 1835, Franklin Fraternal Order of Eagles #328, Franklin Loyal Order of the Moose #83, and the Oil City Polish National Alliance Club.
She was a kind hearted soul that would help anyone if needed. She also loved to take her chances, not only with lottery tickets but also with her many casino trips and visiting Las Vegas on a few occasions. She enjoyed putting together jigsaw puzzles, gardening, bird watching, crocheting, and going on cruises. Her family was very important to her and she loved to play card games with them as often as possible. She also enjoyed baking cookies and was known for her orange drop cookies.
Left to cherish her memory are her children Jimmy Reisinger, Jr. and his wife, Toni, of Oil City, Lori Dechant of Franklin, and Rhonda Exley and her husband, Brent, of Franklin; her grandchildren Destiny Asche and her husband, Aaron, of West Virginia, Aurora Dechant and her companion, Alex Roos, and their baby Bean of Oil City, John Reisinger and his wife, Amanda, of Franklin, Brandon Reisinger of Oil City, Cody Exley and his companion, Hailey McConnell, of New Castle, Gary Glass, Jr. of Venus, Breanne Glass and her companion, Gordon Black, of Venus, Megan Mohnkern of Hermitage, and Mike Mohnkern of Oil City; and her great grandchildren Coleson Asche, Savannah Black and Bryson Glass.
She is further survived by her son-in-law, Fabian Dechant of Oil City; her sister-in-law Betty Lingler of Franklin; her nieces and nephews Jessica Carty and her husband, Jamie, of New Brunswick, Canada, Edward Lingler, Jr. and his wife, Katie, and their children, Sara and Zoey, of Franklin, Nicholas Lingler and his wife, Katy, and their children, Jack and Bennett, of Franklin and Amanda Haag and her husband, Brad, of Franklin and their growing family.
In addition to her mother and her husband, she was preceded in death by her brother Edward Lingler.
Services for Annabelle were held at the convenience of the family. She will be laid to rest next to her husband at Hickory Grove Cemetery, Polk.
