Alice M. Ditzenberger, 70, of Franklin, passed away on December 26th, at 9:40 p.m. surrounded by her loving husband and immediate family. Born December 2, 1946, Alice was the daughter of the late William and Bernice Sutton Rice.Alice graduated from Franklin High School in 1964. On June 10, 1967, Alice married Richard Ditzenberger, who survives. She attended Erie Business School and later worked for the CPT and in the Franklin Area School District.Alice enjoyed playing golf with her two sisters in the Sleepy Hollows Ladies Golf League and watching her six grandchildren at their activities and athletic events.In addition to her husband, Richard, Alice is survived by her six brothers and sisters; Earlene Wyant, Wayne Rice and his wife, Ethel, of Cooperstown, Jim Rice and his wife, Rose, of Douglasville, GA, Donald and his wife Connie, of Franklin, Leona Rice, and her husband Robert Eichholtz, of Franklin, and Sandy Reisinger. sons, Chad Ditzenberger, and his wife, Amy, of Franklin, and Dennis Ditzenberger, and his wife, Gina, of Pittsburgh. She is additionally survived by her grandchildren; Kyle, Kate, Shania, and Dalton, of Franklin, and Richard and Allison Ditzenberger, of Pittsburgh. Alice is also survived by several nieces and nephews.Alice was preceded in death by her parents and her son, Curtis J. Ditzenberger.Funeral services will be held at the St. John's Episcopal Church, on Monday, January 2nd at 11:00 a.m. with the Rev.
