It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Robb L. Reynolds, who left this world on October 13, 2026, at the age of 70. Robb was born on June 1, 1956, in Union City to Harry Lloyd and Beatrice L. Cochran Reynolds.
A proud member of the Class of 1974 at Union City High School, Robb earned his Associate’s Degree and embarked on a career as a machinist at several different steel mills in the area before transitioning to paint locomotives at G.E. He had a knack for connecting with people and also loved driving his school bus, where he cherished the interactions he had with the kids.
On September 22, 1978, Robb married his beloved Darlene Kay Kimmy, who sadly preceded him in death on February 6, 2025. Together, they built a beautiful family filled with love and support.
Robb is survived by his three daughters, Shonda Reynolds of Union City, Moni Seymour and her husband Kody of North East, and Tessa Reynolds of North East; and three sons, Derek Reynolds and his wife Lauren of Maryland, Shane Reynolds and his wife MacKenzie of Centerville, and Todd Reynolds and his wife Beverly Clark of Pleasantville. He will be greatly missed by his nine grandchildren, Langdon, Gunnison, Kailen, Quinn, Enzo, Isabella, Jimmy, Alvin, and Finley.
Robb was also a dedicated coach and mentor in wrestling and baseball, sharing his love for sports and guiding many young athletes along the way. He wore many hats, being a “horse dad” and a longtime PIAA referee, always there to support whatever his kids and grandkids were up to. He had a passion for the outdoors, finding joy in hunting and fishing trips, and his family was always at the heart of everything he did.
A member of the Moose Club and the American Legion, Robb’s legacy will live on in the countless lives he touched. He is survived by five brothers, Ron (Cheryl), Dan (Bonnie), Chris (Monica), Blane (Jeanette), and Bill (Debby), along with his cherished mother-in-law, Pat Kimmy, and brother-in-law, Gregg Kimmy (Cindie). He is preceded in death by his beloved wife, Darlene, and his parents, along with his father-in-law, Ernest Kimmy.
There will be no formal services at this time.
In his memory, contributions can be made to the Union City Alumni Association, P.O. Box 44, Union City, PA, 16438.
