We are heartbroken to share that Tabatha L. Malliard, 41, of Franklin, Pennsylvania, passed away on August 7, 2026, at Sharon Regional Hospital after a courageous 13-month battle with illness. Born on February 13, 1985, in New Haven, Connecticut, Tabatha was a vibrant soul who touched the lives of many.
Tabatha was a proud 2004 graduate of Meadville Area High School and attended Crawford County Vocational School for Childcare. She devoted her life to raising her two wonderful children, Skyler and Bella Malliard.
Her love for her family and community shone brightly through her many roles, including her time as a Girl Scout troop leader and a member of the Rainbow Girls. She previously attended the Salvation Army in Meadville. Tabatha had a passion for crafting and, most importantly, for children. She was a fierce advocate for childhood education and for children and families who needed someone willing to speak up for them.
Tabatha leaves behind her beloved husband, Jim Malliard; her children, Skyler Malliard and Bella Malliard; her mother, Malinda Faulds; her cherished grandparents, L. Garth and Nancy Faulds; her sister, Taylor Faulds; aunts and uncles, including Wendy Senior, AJ Faulds, Cindy Lawrence, and Chris Lawrence; as well as her in-laws, Sue Malliard Phillips, Missy Ritchey, and Adam Ritchey. She is also survived by her loyal dog, Vega.
Tabatha was preceded in death by her grandmother, Irene Faulds, and Samantha Joy Allen.
A Celebration of Life will take place on Friday, August 28, 2026, at 6:00 PM at the Family Children and Community Association, 378 Chestnut Street, Meadville, Pennsylvania.
