Frances McCurry, 84, of Franklin passed away in her home on July 14, 2026.

Born on December 24, 1941 in Dempseytown, she was the daughter of the late Frank and Elizabeth (Deeter) McCurry.

Frances enjoyed the activities and seeing her friends at Cranberry Place Senior Center. She also enjoyed playing cards, bingo, crafting and spending time with her family. She was well known for her great fudge.

She was a member of the former Franklin Christ United Methodist Church.

Left to cherish her memory is her sister Dorothy Spence and her husband Randall of N. Ridgeville, OH; her niece, Tammy Corey of Cochranton who she was close and was more of a daughter to Frances; and several nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her siblings Dave McCurry, Glenn McCurry, Lillian Hollabaugh, and Lola McCurry.

Guests are invited to Gardinier-Warren Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Inc., 1315 Chestnut Street, Franklin on Saturday, July 18th from 11 am until the time of service the same day at 1 pm.

Frances will be laid to rest in Bethel Cemetery, Franklin.
