George Edward Saulsgiver Jr

George Edward Saulsgiver, Jr., died Thursday, May 21, 2026 at his residence.

A son of George E., Sr. and Eleanor Mae Baker Saulsgiver he was born February 3, 1945 in Jeffersonville, Indiana.

On April 3, 1965 George married the former Patricia Belfiore who preceded him in death on October 18, 2025.

Mr. Saulsgiver had served in the US Army during the Vietnam era.

He had been self employed as a bicycle and lawnmower repairman.

George was a member of the Meadville American Legion Post #111. He enjoyed tinkering with HO scale trains.

Surviving are three daughters; Julia Randall and husband William of Edinboro, Barbara Beers of Guys Mills, Cynthia Garrett of Saegertown; a son, Robert and wife Jeannie of Edinboro; ten grandchildren; Ashley, Angela, Yvonne, Kelly, Ryan, Jacob, Daniel, Jonathan, Samantha, Noah; six great-grandchildren; Mya, Jaiden, Dathan, Theo, Jaxson, Adalind; and a sister, Diane.

He was preceded in death by his parents and wife mentioned above.

Funeral Services for Mr. Saulsgiver will be private and are being handled by the Ryan M. Warren Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Inc., 544 Chestnut Street, Meadville, PA. Interment will be made in Roselawn Memorial Gardens.
