Rhonda L. King, 66, of Franklin, was called home to be with Jesus on March 6, 2026 with family by her side. She is now free from pain and sorrow and is rejoicing in the presence of the Lord.

Born on September 13, 1959 in Oil City, she was the youngest daughter of the late S. Robert and Donna Aileen (Marvin) Becker, Jr.

She was a graduate of Rocky Grove High School. For many years, she worked for PNC Bank starting out as a clerk then moving to items processor in the data center.

In addition to being a loving Wife, Mother, Aunt, Sister and Mimi, Rhonda enjoyed camping, fishing and spoiling her granddaughter as often as possible. She liked to read and recently started the Harry Potter series. She loved spending time with her family, especially “Girl Days” with her daughter, granddaughter, and her sister. She was very excited for camping season and looked forward to being with all her camp family.

She was a member of the Moose Lodge #83, VFW Post 1835, and the Fraternal Order of the Eagles #328.

She was passionate about helping the animals at Precious Paws Animal Rescue and the Venango County Humane Society.

Left to cherish her memory along with her devoted and loving husband of 40 years, Gary, is her daughter, Gretchen Stackhouse and her husband, Matt, of Cooperstown; her granddaughter Elsie Stackhouse of Cooperstown; and her siblings Darlene M. Sampsell and her husband, Ron, of Oil City and Karl Becker of Ridgway, PA. As well as her “adopted” daughters Amy, Heather, and Rachael whom she loved as her own. She will also be missed by her constant companion and faithful friend, her dog Penny. As well as several nieces and nephews she kept in line.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her first husband, Roland Heasley who passed in August of 1982 and her infant brother, Dick Becker.

Guests will be received at Atlantic Avenue Church 160 Atlantic Avenue, Franklin on Tuesday, March 10th from 3:00 pm to 6:00 pm. Funeral services for Rhonda will be held the same day at the church at 6:00 pm with Pastor Brad and Pastor Jason officiating.

Rhonda will be laid to rest in Franklin Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made in Rhonda’s name to Precious Paws Animal Rescue, PO Box 784 Franklin, PA 16323; Venango County Humane Society, 286 South Main Street, Seneca, PA 16346; or the charity of one’s choice.

Arrangements are in the care of the Gardinier-Warren Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Inc., 1315 Chestnut Street, Franklin, PA 16323.

    We knew Rhonda and Chunk from helping to cut our grass every week at camp. Rhonda always kept track of the schedules and what needed done and if there were any credits due etc. May she rest in eternal peace.
