Robert Neal Reinsburrow

Robert Neal Reinsburrow, age 79, of Franklin, died Wednesday, March 4, 2026 at his brother’s residence in Johnsonburg, PA.

Born September 24, 1946, he was a son of Alexander “Earl” Reinsburrow and Elizabeth Lee Black Reinsburrow in Johnsonburg, PA.

After graduating high school in 1964, he immediately enlisted in the US Marine Corp. He served the Marines for five years, two of those years in combat.

On July 12, 1971, he married Diane L. Jakuboski who proceded him in death.

He enlisted in the US Army after he married and started a family while traveling the world during his 15 years in the Army. He retired from the Army in 1986.

Mr. Reinsburrow enjoyed his job at Sleepy Hollow Golf Course from which he retired in the Fall of 2025.

Surviving is a son, Jason Reinsburrow of Alexandria, VA; a daughter, April Wheeler and husband Edward of Franklin; three grandchildren, Brett Wheeler, Cody Wheeler, Riley Wheeler and her companion Dakota Mellring; three great grandchildren, Jayce, Sophia, and Olivia Wheeler; four brothers, John and his wife Frances of Colorado, James and wife Lauren of Johnsonburg, Paul and wife Cheryl of Lancaster, Richard and wife Wanda of Mechanicsburg; and numerous nieces and nephews.

He was anxiously awaiting the birth of his fourth great-grandchild due this May.

Robert was preceded in death by his parents, wife, and a brother, Walter A. Reinsburrow.

Mr. Reinsburrow was loved by all around him.

A celebration of life will be held at a later date. The Gardinier-Warren Funeral Home, Franklin, PA is handling arrangements.

  2. Well my friend. You are no longer in pain. You were always a great friend and coworker that I will never forget you were always there anytime I needed you. For 25 years we got to be good friends to where we considered you part of the family We got to go to many different courses together It is going to be very hard to get along without you. There are not enough words to say how much I’m going to miss seeing you anytime I’m out mowing or doing anything on the course and not seeing you there I could not have asked to have a better person to be there with me all these years. To his friends and all his family. My heart is crushed with his passing but I know he is in a better place and at peace. My sincere condolences.
