So sorry to hear of Corey’s passing. I knew his Mom & Dad & knew Corey when he was a little child. My deepest sympathy to the family. God bless all of you!
It is with heavy hearts that we share the passing of Corey Christopher Copeland, 54, of Conneaut Lake, who left us on January 26, 2026, at Meadville Medical Center. Corey was born on September 24, 1971, in Sharon, Pennsylvania, to Robert “Sam” Copeland Jr. and Nancy Lee Copeland.
A proud 1990 graduate of Conneaut Lake High School, Corey later earned his associate’s degree in business from ITT Tech. He followed his passions by returning to school in 2002 to study Massage Therapy at Youngstown College of Massotherapy.
Corey was deeply involved in his community, lending a helping hand at Calvary Baptist Church in Meadville where he was an involved member, and he was an active member of the Rotary in Hermitage and the Sebring Model Railroad Club. He had a zest for life that included hobbies like trains, fly fishing, flying, movies, music, singing, photography, and rose gardening. But above all, Corey cherished the time spent with his son, Keegan.
Corey is survived by his mother, Nancy Copeland of Conneaut Lake; his father and stepmother, Sam and Robin Copeland of Conneaut Lake; his beloved son, Keegan Lee Copeland of Conneaut Lake; his sister, Krissy Pedicini (Doug) of Hermitage, Pennsylvania; his brother, Curtis Copeland (Ashton) of Cochranton; as well as nieces and nephews Lydia Grabowski, Max Grabowski, Kylie Copeland, Gemma Humes, and Bodhi Copeland, and many aunts and uncles. He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Ivor and Helen Lee and Robert and Alice Copeland.
Services were held on Saturday, January 31st at Calvary Baptist Church. Private burial took place at Hillcrest Memorial Park, Hermitage, Pennsylvania.
In honor of Corey’s memory, memorial donations may be made to Calvary Baptist Church, located at 543 Randolph Street, Meadville, Pennsylvania 16335.
