Connie E. Ritchey, a loving mother, grandmother, and friend, passed away on January 1, 2026, at the age of 83, in Oil City Rehab surrounded by her loving family. Born on February 14, 1942, in Lakawanna, New York, Connie was a proud American who lived life to the fullest.
Connie spent her working years as a Time Keeper at Joy Manufacturing for 40 years, where she was in the OPEIU Union at Joy Manufacturing, known for her hard work and dedication. Even after her retirement, she kept busy in her community as a longtime member of the Eagles, Moose, and the VFW. An avid Elvis fan, Connie found joy in music, bingo, and the company of friends, but nothing compared to the love she had for her family and her pet dogs.
Connie is survived by her children, David Ritchey and wife, Mary B. of Franklin, Joseph Ritchey and partner Jim Milano of Audubon, New Jersey, Edward Ritchey and his wife, Debra of Franklin, and Deborah LaJeunesse and her husband, Ronald of Polk; and her grandchildren: Scott Ritchey and his partner, Gabbie; Lindsay Snyder and her husband, Christian; Kaitlyn Schiffer and her husband, Travis; Kyle Ritchey; and Gabrielle LaJeunesse, her partner, Parker Lang. She is also survived by five great-grandchildren who brought her great joy, as well as her sisters-in-law, Carol Ann Reitz, Nancy Ritchey, and Joyce Gianangeli; along with many nieces and nephews who will miss her dearly.Connie was preceded in death by her husband, Robert Ritchey, her parents, her brother, Edward Cooper, and her son, Timothy Wayne Ritchey.
A celebration of Connie’s life will be held at a later date, with details to follow soon. Friends and family are invited to join us in honoring her memory. Let’s come together to share stories, remember the laughter, and celebrate the beautiful life she lived.

She was the timekeeper at 1AM, her first words to me were ” I played bingo with your Mother in Law last night”. After that she kept me updated on her bingo adventures.
