Donna L. Garity

Donna Lee Garity, age 84, of Centerville, went to be with the Lord on December 31, 2025. Born on July 13, 1941, in Mill Village, PA, she was the daughter of loving parents, Rosco Milton Williams and Florence Orba Edwards Williams. After graduating from Girard High School on May 28, 1959, Donna dedicated her life to her passion for woodworking and home construction. She spent many years building cabinets for Lake City Homes and later had a rewarding stint at the Barber Center in Corry.

Donna was a proud member of Faith Church in Corry, where she embraced her faith with warmth and kindness. She had a knack for woodworking, loved gardening, and enjoyed collecting various treasures. A voracious reader, she cherished her time relaxing with a good book and took delight in traveling, especially on trips to visit the grave of Laura Ingalls, her favorite author from “Little House on the Prairie.” Above all, she adored spending time with her family and her daughter’s dog, Bella.

She leaves behind her two daughters, Judith (Michael) Anen of Waterford and Liz (Bruce) Risjan of Jamestown, NY, along with her cherished grandchildren: Brittany (Collin) Hansley of Waterford, Ryan Anen of Millcreek, Nicole Judson of Jamestown, NY, and Mark Risjan of Jamestown, NY. Donna was also loved by her great-grandchildren, Kassidy McGuire, Kylie McGuire, Liam Judson, and Blaze Judson. In addition, she is survived by several nieces, Sharon Gaber, Roberta Kemery, Debbie Bajwa, Valerie Weilczko, a nephew, Jamie Williams, and her close friend, Irene Smith.

Donna is preceded in death by her parents, her sister Bonnie Graham, and her brother Charlie Williams, as well as her nephew Charlie Williams, Jr., and sister-in-law Betty Williams.

Visitation will be held at the Warren-Glenn Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Inc. 62 S. Main Street, Union City on January 6, 2026, from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PMShe will be laid to rest in Mill Village Cemetery.
