Patricia S. Murnighan, age 83, of Meadville, died Wednesday, December 10, 2025 at St. Vincent Hospital in Erie.

A daughter of John and Mary Hubka Garry, she was born March 24, 1942 in Elizabeth, New Jersey.

Mrs. Murnighan had enjoyed bowling, hunting, fishing and doing word puzzles.She had been employed by Burger King.

Surviving is a daughter, Donna Marie Murnighan and her partner, Laura Singo of Meadville; two brothers, John Garry, Jr. and wife Sue of Fort Worth, TX, William Garry and wife Susan of Maine; and two grandchildren, Francesca and Dominico Montagna.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, James Murnighan; and a daughter, Diana Montagna.

A memorial service will be held at the Ryan M. Warren Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Inc., 544 Chestnut Street, Meadville, PA, at a later date. Interment will be made in Tom’s River, New Jersey.

    Pat and Donna and I bowled together on a team for many years. I always said Pat was the only one there that got my sense of humor. We had so much fun. She was a great person and hard worker….going into Burger King each morning in the wee hours. I know she will be dearly missed by Donna and Laura.
