Martha A. Rogers

Martha A. Rogers, 93, of Union City, will be remembered fondly after she passed away on Thursday, December 11, 2025, at Country Acres Personal Care Home. Born on June 2, 1932, in Jamestown, NY, she was the daughter of Garold and Tressie Bacon. Martha married Harold Rogers on February 19, 1982, and he will be waiting for her on the other side, as he preceded her in death in 2006.

A member of the 7th Day Advent Faith Church, Martha worked hard at Ethan Allen Furniture as a sander. She loved spending time in Florida with Harold, had a passion for reading, gardening, and canning even into her nineties.

She leaves behind her daughter, Betty Renser of Erie; her son, Howard Renser and his wife, Sherry, of Texas; her stepdaughter, Christina Munn of Corry; and her stepson, Larry J. Rogers and his wife, Ellen, of Union City. Martha was also a proud grandmother to eleven “grandchildren” and a great-grandmother to fourteen “great-grandchildren”, as well as one “great-great-grandson”. She is survived by her sister-in-law Shirley Bacon of Ohio, lifelong friends Betty Crum, Lois Johnson, Patricia and Charles Brink, and many wonderful neighbors who will miss her.

Martha is now reunited with her parents, her husband Harold, her stepson James Rogers, and her three brothers, Kenneth, Larry, and David, along with her two sisters, Leah and Sena.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, December 17th from 10:00 am until the time of the service at 12:00 pm at Warren-Glenn Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Inc., located at 62 S. Main Street, Union City. Rev. Marvin Hutchison of the CMA of Northeast will officiate.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to your local church, a cause Martha held close to her heart. She will be deeply missed but fondly remembered by all who knew her.
