Patricia "Pat" Wimer

Patricia “Pat” M. Wimer, 82, of Oil City passed away on November 21, 2025 at UPMC Northwest with her family at her side.

Born on December 5, 1942 in Souix Falls, SD she was the daughter of the late Lee and Rose (Mason) Midage.

She was an LPN at Polk State Institute for many years. She enjoyed gardening, crocheting, reading, sewing, and crafting. Pat also enjoyed listening to live music and was known for her love of chocolate, ice cream, and a good Pepsi.

Left to cherish her memory are her daughters Shannon Walton of Oil City and Mia Carr of Iowa City, IA; her grandchildren Madison Thurau and her husband, Sam, of Hollidaysburg, PA, Karyss Walton of Franklin, Kwuinn Walton and his wife Brittany, of Franklin, Charlie Carr and his wife, Samantha, of Minneapolis, MN, Margaret Carr of Fort Colllins, CO, and Grace Carr of Denver, CO; her great grandchildren, Hazel Thurau and Thalia Carr.  She is further survived by her brother, Brian Midage of Franklin.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother Gary Midage.
