Ruth Elizabeth Bracken

Precious baby Ruth entered eternal life with Jesus on September 24, 2025 due to complications from birth (Haddad Syndrome). Ruth, born on August 29, 2025, brought love, joy and the sweetest snuggles to her family during her brief time here. She will forever be cherished and missed by her parents, Charles and Jenna (Hamilton) Bracken of Cochranton and her three siblings, Levi, Natalie and Isaac whom adored her.

Ruth is survived by her loving maternal grandmother, Diana Young of Cochranton, and paternal grandparents, Mark and Sherry Bracken of Tennessee. She has many great-grandparents, including Patricia Young, Lynne Senkarik, Philip and Annie Bracken and Richard and Evelyn Allen. Aunts and uncles include, Janel and Greg Rankin, Keith and Ashley Hamilton, Marie and Jeffrey Goers and Carole and Sean Byham.

She was preceded in death by a cousin, Henry Byham.

A heartfelt thank you goes out to the amazing staff at UPMC Children’s Hospital of Pittsburgh. Thank you for your love, support and meticulous care that each of you provided to not only Ruth, but our entire family.

Friends and family are encouraged to gather for a funeral service on Monday, September 29, 2025, at 5:00 PM at Pleasantview Alliance Church, located at 16233 State Route 86, Saegertown. Pastor Shawn Steiner will lead the service. Everyone is welcome to join the family for a dinner and time of fellowship following the service.

Private burial will take place at Cochranton Cemetery.

Memorial contributions may be made in Ruth’s memory to Grady’s Decision, PO Box 9343, Erie, Pennsylvania 16505. Grady’s Decision is a non-profit that helps meet the needs of families with children needing specialized medical attention.
