Raymond E. Caldwell, 83, of Franklin passed away on July 31, 2025 at Quality of Life Services in Chicora after a short illness.
Born on December 24, 1941 in Franklin, he was the son of the late, John and Frances Farren Caldwell.
Raymond served in the US Army during the Vietnam War.
For many years, Raymond worked on oil wells for John Bellis Co.
Raymond was a member of the Victory Heights United Brethren Church where he was very active with the church. He also enjoyed watching Western TV shows and movies, game shows, and enjoyed helping his brother in the garden.
Left to cherish his memory is his brother Thomas W. Caldwell; his sister Bonnie L. Ross; and his many nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his siblings Alice “Ali” Flickner and Dorothy E.M. Chapin.
Guests are invited to Victory Heights United Brethren Church, 5978 US 322, Franklin, PA on Thursday, August 7th from 10 am to 11 am. Funeral services for Raymond will be held at the church immediately following with Pastor Mike Heim officiating.
Raymond will be laid to rest in Sunset Hill Memorial Gardens, Franklin.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to the church’s building fund at the previously listed address.
