It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Haden Douglas O’Connor, who left us too soon at the age of 13 on July 29, 2025. Haden was born on July 26, 2012, in Erie, PA, to Douglas P. O’Connor and Debra L. Brumagin O’Connor.
Haden was a bright light in the lives of everyone who knew him. A middle schooler at Wattsburg Area Middle School, he was known for his love of sports, playing football and competing in track and field. When he wasn’t on the field, you could find him enjoying the great outdoors, whether he was hunting, riding side-by-sides, tearing up the trails on four-wheelers, or speeding across the snow on his snowmobile. He cherished his time with family, especially farming and working with tractors alongside his dad, as well as mowing grass for his aunt and spending time with his dog Toby. Haden was also fortunate to have close friends like Levi, Owen, Roman, and many others with whom he shared countless adventures and memories.
Haden is survived by his loving parents, Doug and Debra of Union City, his sister, Haley L. O’Connor, who is at home, and his step-brother, Ty O’Connor of Wattsburg. He is also remembered by his paternal grandparents, Douglas H. and Pamela M. O’Connor of Wattsburg, his great-grandma Lena Robinson of Wattsburg, great aunt Mary Brumagin of Union City, and many aunts, uncles, and cousins who will cherish their memories with him.
He was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Harley and Nancy Brumagin; his great-grandpa Dave Robinson; and paternal great-grandparents Lois and Harold O’Connor; maternal great-grandparents, Ted and Ethel Brumagin, aunts Debbie Lyons and Linda Robinson, cousins Greg Eastman and Steven Mongera; a great aunt, Marge Allen; and great uncles, David and Harold Brumagin.
Family and friends will be welcomed at Warren-Glenn Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Inc. 62 S.
