Resided in: Polk, Pennsylvania

Mary Page, 87, of Polk passed away on July 10, 2025 at UPMC Northwest due to complications from an automobile accident on May 19, 2025.

Born on September 1, 1937 in Polk, she was the daughter of the late George and Edith Wood.

On November 25, 1960, she married Homer H. Page. Together, they raised 6 boys, Mark and Bob of Utica, Randy and Rick of Polk, and Joe (Pam) of Franklin and Mike who preceded him in death. She cherished her wonderful grandchildren Homer P. Page, Angel Page (Ross Peterson), Logan Page, Terry (Heather) Filer and her great grandchildren Roan Peterson, Cadence, Chloey, and Jade Page, Amber and Lucas Page, and Kendall and Curtis Filer. Homer preceded her in death on June 9, 2025.

For 25 years, she worked at Polk Center as a Residential Service Aide where she took pride in caring for the residents there.

She got to travel the country and Canada supporting her husband in his horseshoe tournaments. You would often find her keeping score for the pitchers.

Mary loved scratch off lottery tickets and going to Bingo, especially attending the weekly Utica Fire Department Bingo with her son Mark. She was known for her almost famous peanut butter fudge cookies and her chocolate cake with peanut butter frosting. With her husband, they played on the mixed league bowling at Franklin lanes for many years. No matter where she went, she would run into someone she knew. She was always the life of the party and enjoyed spending time with her family and her little Shih Tzu, Harper.

She is further survived by her siblings Dolly D’Ambrosio of Chambersburg, Chery Zawrotuk, and her husband, Ron, of Butler, Robert “Jake” Wood of Washington State; her brother-in-law Daniel “Herbie” Rockwell of Polk; and several nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents and son, Mike, she was preceded in death by her siblings Tom, Danny, and Debbie Wood; an infant sister Dorothy Wood; and daughters-in-law Marilyn Page and Loretta Page.

In following with Mary’s wishes, no public services will be observed and funeral arrangements are in the care of the Gardinier-Warren Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Inc., 1315 Chestnut Street, Franklin, PA 16323.
