Born in: Titusville, Pennsylvania
Resided in: Townville, Pennsylvania

Donald A. Steadman, who left us on May 15, 2025, at the age of 67. Born on August 19, 1957, in Titusville, PA, Donald was a beloved member of the Townville community, known for his hard work, dedication to farming, and genuine spirit.

A 1975 graduate of Townville High School, Donald was an athlete who wrestled and enjoyed the camaraderie that comes with sports. After graduation, he continued the family legacy, working on the family farm, “Steadman’s Farm,” alongside his father. In 1990, he took the proud step of purchasing the farm and nurturing it with the same love and care that had been instilled in him. Farming was not just his livelihood; it was a deep passion that defined his life.

Donald’s faith played a significant role in his life, guiding him through both challenges and joys. He was an active member of several farming organizations and cherished his early years in 4-H, building friendships and connections that would last a lifetime. Beyond his dedication to agriculture, Donald loved watching movies and attending the county fair, where he found joy in the simple pleasures that life offered.

He is survived by his sister, Charla Frantz (Danny) of Townville; three brothers, Terry Steadman (Mary) of Corapolis, PA, Bill Steadman (Cathy), and Randy Steadman (Barbara), both of Meadville; as well as many nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and a great-great-niece. He will be missed dearly by his close friend, Wesley Reynolds (Christine), who shared many moments with him.

Donald was preceded in death by his parents, Charles E. Steadman and Barbara J. Curry, and both his maternal and paternal grandparents.

Donald’s journey was one filled with love, hard work, and a commitment to family and faith. He will be remembered for his kind heart and the impact he had on those around him.

Donald chose to give the gift of life through organ donation, a testament to his selfless nature.

A gathering of family and friends will be welcome on Monday, May 19, from 11:30 AM until the time of the funeral service at 2:00 PM at the Ryan M. Warren Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Inc., located at 33353 N. Main Street, Townville. Pastor Trevor Brubaker will officiate the service, celebrating Donald’s remarkable life.

Following the service, Donald will be laid to rest at Kingsley Cemetery in Townville, a peaceful place where family ties and memories will remain close to the hearts of those who loved him.

Special thanks to the amazing nurses, aides, and staff at Titusville Nursing and Rehabilitation for their compassionate care. Your kindness made a difference in his life.
