Lynn was a good friend of my brother Mark Parker. I have fond memories of Lynn and his dairy farm from 40 years ago. He loved to talk, and any visit turned into a long conversaion full of stories.
Many fond memories of Lynn. Worked for him at the farm during HS in the 80,s. Learned a lot from this man, especially the value of honesty and hard work.
Stories… yes in deedy, him and his cows loved to listen to Paul Harvey during milkins’.
He used to say, “Rabbit! (the nickname he gave me), you only have two speeds, slow and stop!” I knew it wasn,t true, he,d just say it to goad me into working harder and not giving up when it got tough.
Those of you whoever worked for him, I,m sure you heard the story of Walter and how he,d goad his co-workers while bailing hay, “A little faster if you can stand it!”
Well, Lynn, I pray you don,t have to work hard anymore. I will miss those long conversations.
