Charities
The family greatly appreciates donations made to these charities in Beatrice E. Turner 's name.
Bea, was a one of a kind lady. She was a patient where I worked. She made a bear from an old fur of my mothers and when my first grand baby was born she made him a bear and the extra special thing was, she told me this was the last one she would ever make. She will be missed, but I will have this fur bear to remind me of my mother and Bea.
Rest in peace, Bea.
Sorry to hear about Bea — aka “human mother of Tippy.” Met Bea and Tippy when they lived at Crestview Apartments. Always a good visit, both at Crestview and then Franklin, and, later after covid, good phone calls. In fact, the last time I talked to her, which was just a few weeks ago, she sounded good, as usual. May she rest in peace. She lived a good life.
I will miss my Aunt Bea, she was a dear person and fiercely independent. She always said the secret to her good health and long life was swimming but I also think it was because she took such a keen interest in people and had great curiosity about all sorts of people and events , she was a very kind person. She was a wealth of information, I thought of her as our family historian. I always learned something new about our family or our local history when visiting with her and I will miss those visits, she was my last elder. Bea was an impressive cook and was especially known for her delicious cookies. She enjoyed a good laugh. I will always remember the generous smile she greeted everyone with as though you just made her day to be there.
will never forget her. Rest in peace Bea, you will be missed but not forgotten.

My sympathy to all of the family. I enjoyed knowing Bea – she was a great Dempseytown lady! I think the last time I saw her was a few years ago at one of the firehall dinners. she called me over and we chatted. I remember her great smile and happy attitude. 102 years! Wow! I hope your good memories will give you comfort. Kathy Plyler
Family and Friends of Bea.
May God comfort and support you in the time of your loss. Our prayers and thoughts are with you.
“Let not your heart be troubled; ye believe in God, believe also in me. In my Father’s house are many mansions. If it were not so, I would have told you. I go to prepare a place for you. And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again, and receive you unto myself; that where I am, there ye may be also.” John 14: 1 -3
Bea was a dear friend and it was certainly a pleasure to know and love her. She made it easy! When she joined Christ United Methodist Church, she asked me (Lou) to walk down with her to the ceremony. It was my pleasure and a lifetime memory.
I look forward to the day when I will see her again in heaven.
She will remain in our hearts and thoughts forever.
May God Bless and Keep You,
Lou, Susan and Bethany Slautterback
I still have my baking cookbook.
She was such a pleasant lady. Remembering going to pick apples at their orchard.
