Guestbook

  1. Hello Robb. I’m so sad and sorry to hear of the passing of Darlene, and you and your family’s loss. I didn’t know Darlene that well, but she always seemed like such a sweet person to me when I was in her presence. I’m glad I got to see the two of you at our Class of ’74 high school reunion this past summer. My thoughts and prayers are with you and your family during this sad and difficult time.

    • My brother Deven and Shane were inseparable growing up. Darlene became like a second mom to us Laird kids and all the kids in youth group at church too. I have SO many dear, fond memories of her… mostly about baseball and wrestling. She once did my hair in the wrestling stands for a winter dance, and I gotso many complimentson how it looked. I teach at that school now, and I think of her every time I enter the gym. I will always remember her passionate care for her family. There wasn’t anyone you wanted more in your corner fighting for you and cheering you on. You are so loved, “Mom”.

  2. Darlene was a wonderful wife, mother and grandmother. My heart and prayers go out to her family. I’m happy we spent some time together last July at the class of 74 reunion. Then again in September we had a nice time at the alumni dinner. You will so sadly be missed by everyone. Love Chris
