Lucille E. Rockett, beloved mother, grandmother, sister, and friend, passed away peacefully on January 14, 2025, at the age of 69. She was born on March 7, 1955, and spent her life dedicated to her family, leaving a lasting impact on all who knew her.

A proud graduate of Eisenhower High School, Lucille went on to serve her country in the United States Army before embarking on a career as the yard supervisor at First Student Bus Garage.

Lucille cherished moments spent with loved ones, reveling in the joy of cookouts and crafting, which brought her great happiness. Her close-knit family was paramount, and she took great pride in nurturing their relationships.

Lucille is survived by her children, Stephanie A. Day of Union City and Michael S. Day and companion Tonee of Corry; three beloved grandchildren, Sarah Poff and her husband, Greg of Edinboro, Samantha Sweet of Edinboro, and Daniel Sweet of Corry; as well as her brothers, Ed Rollinger and his wife, Judy of Warren, and Bill Rollinger and his wife, Mary of Jamestown.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Timothy; her sister, Sherilyn Sherry; and her parents, William and Edith Johnson Rollinger.

In honoring Lucille’s wishes, there will be no formal services. Her life will be celebrated in the hearts of those she touched.

  10. Will always remember when Mike ordered you a dream catcher cake for your birthday and you were so surprised and you were so sad to have to cut into it you almost didn’t let us lol.
