Frances Ann Flatley

Frances Ann Flatley, 72, of Meadville Pennsylvania, passed away Tuesday, February 6, 2024 unexpectedly at her residence. She was born October 9, 1951 in Meadville, a daughter of Frances and Bernice (Stine) Poldiak. Frances graduated from Edinboro University with a B.S. in Social Work and was employed by Big Brothers & Sisters, Dresden and Erie County Care Management. She was devout in her faith and was a member of United Faith Fellowship. She enjoyed poetry, folk music, and loved taking care of animals. Her favorite dog was an English Sheep Dog. Frances is survived by her daughters; Chelsea N. Izbinski and her companion Fletcher Chatman of Meadville and Angela J. Hill; a son, Jamie M. Bell and his wife Sally of Meadville; grandchildren, Taylor, Noah, Abigail, Lindsay, Gabriel, Isabella and Hannah; her sister Nancy Jenkins and her husband Paul of Cambridge Springs; and a brother, Francis Poldiak and his wife Neneth of Massachusetts. In addition to her parents; she was preceded in death by her sister, Rose McIntyre; and brother Dwight "Butch" Schnars. Services will be announced at a later date.
