So sorry to read about Rons death. I also was in the class of 1962. It seems he went through alot in his life and I am glad he is now in peace, Prayers for the family.
Dear Joyce and family-
I am Dr. Roger Brumagin, the organist emeritus of the Lake Pleasant Church. In reading Ron’s obituary, several memories came to my mind – all wonderful ones!
First, I thought of your mother, Lucille, who sort of adopted me as a son. Then I thought of the night when Ron was driving us, i.e., myself and either you or else your cousin Darlene, to a youth meeting at what was then the former East Greene Presbyterian Church. On the way there, we ended up in the ditch on the side of Wales Road! No one was hurt and I don’t think the car was even damaged, but it was quite a memorable adventure to a young boy – me!!
My final memory of Ron was how happy he was when Janice agreed to marry him. Along with her sister, Joyce, the Cunningham twins would often came to the Lake Pleasant Church and sing and play the piano for the congregation.
Good memories all!
Roger
