Vern Clifford Allen

Vern C. Allen, 72, formerly of Franklin passed away at the Transitions Healthcare Autumn Grove in Harrisville, PA on August 4, 2023. Born in Titusville on August 2, 1951, he was the son of the late Clifford M. and Mary Jane (Anderson) Allen. Vern was a devoted Christian and enjoyed what he did caring for others through the Easter Seals. He liked to collect guns and watching the History Channel. He loved animals but mostly enjoyed spending time with his family. Left to cherish his memory are his niece, Mary Whitton and her husband, Kenneth of Franklin; his nephews, Scott Baker of Franklin, James Baker and his wife, Robin, of Franklin and John Baker of Titusville; his many great-nieces and great-nephews. He is also survived by his brother-in-law, Eric Baker of Franklin. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sisters, Kathryn E. Baker and Kay Allen. No public viewing will be held and a Celebration of Vern's Life will be announced at a later date.
