Joseph T. Law, 41, of Franklin, passed away on Tuesday, August 1, 2023 at his home. He was born on May 30, 1982, in Minneapolis, MN, to Paul "Red" Law and Dorice (Rice) Law-Slattery. Joe never met a stranger and loved talking to anyone he met. He enjoyed playing sports and video games. Joe was an avid reader and Air Jordan's were a staple in his wardrobe. In his youth, he was an accomplished athlete, having won trophies for his performance on both the basketball court and football field. His family was the most important thing to him and he valued his relationships with them more than anything. Left to cherish his wonderful memory are his parents, Paul "Red" Law and his wife, Marcy of Franklin and Dorice Law Slattery and her husband, Timothy of Plymouth, MN; his daughter, Jalyssa Law of Plymouth, MN; his brothers, Paul Burnett, Michael Burnett, and Paul D. Law, Jr.; his sisters, Andrea Rice, Melissa Law, RaeShell Law, Arianne Basham, Shaniqua Law, and Tenasia Law; as well as several nieces, nephews, and cousins. Joe is preceded in death by his maternal and paternal grandparents. Family and friends will be received on Saturday, August 5, 2023 at Gardinier-Warren Funeral Home & Cremation Services, Inc., 1315 Chestnut Street, Franklin, PA from 1pm - 3pm. A funeral service for Joe will be held immediately following the visitation at the funeral home at 3pm with Rev. Dr. Lora Adams-King, pastor of New Life Family Worship Center, officiating. The family asks that expression of sympathy and condolence be done through floral displays. Joe will be laid to rest at the Washburn-McReavy Hillside Cemetery in Minneapolis, MN. I just wanted to expect reds my condolences to the Family and say I just met Jo last summer but the few times I got to rap with him was very stimulating conversations to say the least Jo was in tune with people and he listened to your words as you spoke them and always gave a articulate response back he was a Good Solid Guy and May the roads rise up to meet you my friend God bless you Jo…….
