Eugene J. Vito

Eugene J Vito, Jr., of Erie , passed away, Wednesday, January 4, 2023. He was born in Kane, Pennsylvania on December 6, 1961 to Eugene S.Vito, Sr. and Diane Frances (Engle) Vito. Eugene was a United States Marine Private 1st Class. He enjoyed spending his days watching the Erie SeaWolves games and attending the Street Festivals of Erie. Eugene is survived by his wife, Melvina Vito of Kane, Pennsylvania; six daughters, Gina Nolan of Sun Valley, Nevada, Amber McKinzie of Starkville, Mississippi, Danielle Vito of Athens, Georgia, Reagan Vito and Selina Vito of Kane, Pennsylvania and Catalina Vito of Warren, Pennsylvania; his grandchildren, Caden McKinzie, Amelia Nelson, Kaitlyn, Benny, Alex, and a grandchild on the way; brother, Anthony Vito of Union City; a brother in law, Wayne Trask of Union City, Pennsylvania; and several aunts, uncles and cousins. He was preceded in death by his mother; a son, Anthony Anderson; his grandmother, Regina Engle; great-grandmother, Regina Engle; and grandmother, Mary Kepler-Lyon.
