Calvin R. Kimmy

Calvin R. Kimmy, 96 of Wattsburg PA. Passed away at home on August 15, 2022. He was born to Wayne and Lizzie Kimmy in Amity Twp on November 30, 1925. He was a tractor mechanic and an avid tractor collector and he could fix anything he touched. He was an engineer before his time. He loved to play the harmonica, ride four wheelers and was an excellent woodworker. He also liked to eat corn on the cob, hot balls and Necco candy and almost any kind of pie. He had a habit on nicknaming everyone he met and he loved Allis Chalmers tractor and Dodge vehicles. He was a patient, kind man and was loved by many. He was preceded in death by the love of his life Ella Jean McClelland and his son Dennis Kimmy and all of his siblings and their spouses: Lawrence, Raymond, Gladys, Delina and Vircel. There will be a huge hole in our hearts. He is survived by his sons Skip (Gail), Doug (Tammy) and Dean (Karla)and daughter in law Theresa Kimmy. Grandchildren: Nathan (Amanda)Kimmy, Erin (Jeremiah) Hinkson, Jaimi (Brad) Mack, Kyle (Sheryl) Kimmy, Olivia (David) Berrier, Victoria, Luke , Taylor, Dani and Zayn Kimmy. Great grandchildren: Chance, Clay and Ashlynn Kimmy, Isaac and Emily Hinkson, James, Jed and Jason Mack, Sophia and Braxton Kimmy, Zyler and Grant Kimmy and Minerva Berrier. His dog companion Sam will be lost without him. Family and friends are welcome to call on Friday, August 19, 2022 from 2:00 pm to 5:00 pm and 7:00 pm to 9:00 pm at Union City Christian and Missionary Alliance Church, 2 Dowman St. Union City. The funeral service will be held on Saturday, August 20, 2022 at 10:00 am at the church. Calvin will be laid to rest at Lawn Cemetery of Beaverdam.
