David Norman Waid
January 20, 1932 ~ July 7, 2022
David Norman Waid, 90, of Townville passed away at the Crawford County Care Center in Saegertown on July 7, 2022.
Born on January 20, 1932 in Venango County, he was the son of the late Vincent and Ada (Risley) Waid.
He was a member of the Townville Baptist Church.
David was a skilled person who owned his own well drilling and locksmith businesses and he also worked for other different companies. He enjoyed metal detecting and tinkering on anything that needed fixed. He loved to make people laugh.
He enjoyed traveling and spending time with his family. He was very fond of his pets.
David leaves behind his children, Bruce Waid and his wife, Eliza Lana, of Parma, OH, Linda Konetsky of Erie and Mary Tatro of Berea, OH; his grandchildren Rachel Tatro, David Tatro, Jason Tatro, April Persic, Joshua Martin, Adam Martin and Antonia Harvey and his great-grandchildren Christopher Wilson, JR., Decker Tatro, Jonah Martin and Baby Boy Persic on the way.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his first wife, Barbara and his second wife, Bonnie.
A Celebration of David's Life will be announced at a later date.

My sincerest sympathies to all of Dave’s family. He was a great host, I know this because he always calmly put up with me and Mary giggling, playing music and whatever teenage girls do. He provided us with occasional rides to and from our homes, and I don’t remember him ever scolding us, so he must have been very patient too. I do remember him telling a joke or two. Hugs and prayers.
