Christine S. Orr, 76, of Centerville, PA went home to be with her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. Christine passed away at Meadville Medical Center on Wednesday, October 25, 2023. She was born May 14, 1947 at the Union City Hospital in PA to the late Clifford and Isabell (Fagan) Weed. On December 1, 1968 she married Robert Orr who preceded her in death on October 2, 1993. Christine graduated from Fort LeBoeuf High School and was a homemaker, enjoyed canning and gardening, drove school van, and loved children. Over the years, she cared for many foster children as well as babysitting many others. Through the years, she taught Sunday School and VBS and was a prayer warrior at church. Christine is survived by her daughter Roberta Orr of Meadville; her sons, Russell Orr of Guys Mills and his children, AydaGrace and Attley Orr, and Jonathan Orr and his wife, Shavonne, and their children Sierra and Eric Orr of Titusville; her sister Nola Garrett of Pittsburgh; and her brother Jerry Weed and his wife, Lisa, of Maryland. In addition to her parents and loving husband Robert, she was preceded in death by her brother Joel Weed. Family and friends are invited to the Ryan M. Warren Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Inc., 544 Chestnut Street, Meadville on Monday, October 30, 2023 from 1:00 pm to 2:00 pm with the funeral service immediately following at 2:00 pm at the funeral home with Pastor Glen Van Cise officiating. Christine will be laid to rest next to her husband at the Mackey Hill (Leboeuf) Cemetery, Mill Village, PA.
