Fred was one of Tom’s best friends, and in turn mine. There was an instant connection when we met Fred and Deb and he has remained a lifelong friend. Last summer, I attempted to get in touch with him to have breakfast together! Even though I haven’t seen him for a while, I will still miss him deeply. Hugs and prayers to all! Bell O’Neil

  3. Fred was an icon to all who knew him. He was always “tough”! But he redefined the meaning of tough throughout his many ailments and his constant battles to get healthy! I’ll never forget Fred. Already, the stories of his many “exploits” are making the rounds of those who knew him well. Rest well my friend and laugh with us as we embellish your past!

  9. Fred Jolley,
I’ll always remember “Blue Eyes”, what a hunk at Rocky Grove High. Also, the most recent years when I discovered that big tender heart in the tough guy.
I thank your family and friends for sharing you.
    Love ya, Mil

  10. May the love of family and friends comfort you during these difficult days. So many fond memories over the years. So many fishing trips to Nipissing. Rest in Peace dear friend, you will always be in our thoughts and prayers. Heinz and Gerda

  11. Oh daddy,
I’ve tried to write this a hundred times, but it’s just been too difficult to admit you’re really gone. I keep waiting for you to come in here and give me heck for making such a mess in your house. What can I say that will adequately describe what I’m feeling right now? I miss you so much already that I feel like I’ll never recover. One minute Andie and I are laughing hysterically about your skydiving accident, then fighting back tears the next. You were the best dad in the world and my life will not be the same without you here. And as great you were as a dad, you were an even more amazing papa. There are 3 grandchildren who will always remember spending time at papa’s. Swimming in the pool, the infamous slip n’ slide, and all the wonderful Christmas celebrations you lived for.
I will miss you for the rest of my life. Thank you for the sign today. I played the whole cd. Hug mom for me. I love you. Jess

  13. Jessica and Andrea,
You are in my thoughts and prayers. I am so sorry to hear about the passing of Uncle Fred. As a kid I remember visiting your house in Polk and his game room was a magical place. I will never forget the time Aunt Debbie had Thanksgiving and Christmas there too – with the giant tubs of Chex mix. Please let me know if there is anything I can do for you.

    Love,
    Joey Fuchs
(Daughter of Dave and Annie (Berdar) Fuchs; Niece of Fred and Debbie Jolley)
