Beulah DeLong Titus
Obituary - Beulah DeLong Titus Beulah DeLong Titus, 91, formerly of Rocky Grove, passed away Monday, Nov. 17, 2008, at Swaim Health Center in Greenridge Village, Newville, Pa. Mrs. Titus was born in West Kittanning to the late Harvey W. and Olive Willings Snow. She retired as a cook from Polk State School. She enjoyed her family, reading, embroidering and traveling. She was previously married to John Edward DeLong who preceded her in death on Feb. 4, 1982. She married again on Feb. 12, 1990, to Wayne Howard Titus, who passed away June 14, 2008. Mrs. Titus is survived by a son, Edward D. Thomas of Oregon; two daughters, Linda M. Thomas of Mechanicsburg; Connie L. Thomas and her husband, James G., of Mechanicsburg; a step-daughter, Naomi Osborne of Pennsylvania; two sister, Loretta Shuffstall of Tampa, Fla.; Vera Snyder of Franklin. Mrs. Titus was blessed with many grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren. In addition to her husbands and parents, Mrs. Titus was preceded in death by a step-daughter, Betty Crawford; a step-son, Johnny Lee DeLong; a son-in-law, George B. Thomas; three brothers, Ray Snow, Howard Snow and Walter Snow; and three sisters, Myrtle Hazlette, Florence Snow and Freda Orsino. A viewing will be from 4:30 to 6 p.m. Friday at the Robert W. Gardinier Funeral Home, 1315 Chestnut Street, Franklin. A funeral service will follow at 6 p.m. Friday at the funeral home with the Rev. Ray Crawford officiating. Interment will be in Sunset Hills Memorial Gardens, Cranberry. Arrangements are being handled by the Hollinger Funeral Home & Crematory, Inc., Mt. Holly Springs, (717) 486-3433.

We wanted to extend our our sympathy to you all. We are sorry that we weren’t there to support you but we were there in thought.
Aunt Buleah was such a special lady. We will always remember her smiling face and her laugh. We will never forget the time Dad played a trick on her. He took her purse and she was certainly beside herself after she found out it was a joke they laughed until they cried. That was one of many tricks and laughs they shared. We are very lucky to have such special memories.
