  11. It is with sadness, yet also with joy, that I write a tribute to Audine Deeter. Audine had a wonderful spirit that loved her family, loved her church family, and most of all loved her Lord and Savior, Jesus the Christ. My family and I were blessed to have Audine as a Buttermilk HIll neighbor for 7 years. Whenever I had an emergency, Matthew would have me call Audine so that he could stay with her. She would teach him all about the woods behind her house — and about cooking — and even taught him how to sew on a sewing machine. She did have him worried once. He came home from Kindergarten and said that Audine had done a bad thing — she gave him beer. We asked a few more questions and discovered that indeed she had — it was root beer! Sue and I still laugh about some of Audine’s lines. I guess I need to amend my second sentence — Audine loved her family, she loved her church family, she loved her Lord and Savior, and she loved life! Thank you, God, for allowing our lives to intersect with the beautiful spirit of Ada Audine Deeter.

  12. To the family of Ada Deeter, it was a genuine pleasure and an honor for my wife and me to have had the blessed opportunity to meet such a fine and pleasant person. In addition, it was truly enjoyable playing Christmas music for Ada on her beautiful organ in her home. This past Christmas season was everso special. She was a dear woman as we always felt so welcome in her home. She is in Heaven now enjoying her Eternal Salvation. We will reunite with her someday. God bless Ada and her wonderful family and friends. In Jesus’ name, Tim and Karen Sobina
