to a great neighbor and friend I will miss your calls and your laugh ….love you….
God called a wonderful woman and best friend home yesterday. I will never forget the good times we spent going to the Amish country, just laughing and recalling the good ole days on BullyHill.
I was so blessed to be able to care for you these last couple of months and you seemed so happy
to be back home in Franklin . Vern and you were special friends. May you both rest in peace.
Yor forever friend. Ann
I was so saddened to hear of the loss of Becky Black. I worked with Becky for many years and had been friends with her and Vern since they moved to York County. They also attended my Church. The loss of Vern was very hard on Becky. I should be happy because I am sure they are together again in Heaven.
I will miss them both. My condolences to both Darin and young Vern.

I just spoke to Becky a few days ago and I just can not believe she is gone. I am not over loosing my best friend Becky’s husband Vern from just a short time ago. When Becky called me last week she was disappointed because she was not going to make it to the Coast Guard Auxiliary conference in which her and Vern have been our right hand helpers (see pic) for years. They both loved coming to these and we had a great time simply acting like kids again, we could do that together. I just know she is now home with Vern again as I can hear Vern saying REBECCA. Words can not say what we truly feel, we will miss them dearly. Our best to the family and children. With Love, Kevin and Vickie Tyler
With great sadness, the members of Division 19 (5NR) U.S. Coast Guard Auxiliary note the passing of Rebecca Black. Becky was one of our most loyal, dedicated and active members, along with her husband Vern. Regardless of the mission, from safety patrols on the Susquehanna River to staffing boating safety booths at public events, she was there to help. Her laugh and her smile always added something special. She will be sorely missed.

My thoughts and Prayers go out to you and your family Vern. With my deepest sympathy. ? Love,Tonia Edge
I just can’t get my best friend of 55 years off my mind. She was the sister I never had and the best friend anyone could have been blessed with. I will miss the trips to the Amish country, the phone calls, and the chance to just have a good laugh of the crazy things we did in school and growing up on Bully Hill. The memories are all I have now, but they will forever be with me and I will always feel blessed for the little neighbor girl down the road who came into my life many years ago. Forever friends. Ann
God bless all of the remaining kids and grand children after the passing of their dear Mother and Grandmother. May she rest in God’s loving peace forever. O
I knew Becky through her sister- in-law Vicki Clark.
