Suzan Lorraine "Sue" Clark, born on December 18, 1950 in Franklin, Pennsylvania, to the late June (Carey) Clark and the late Wayne H. Clark, passed away at age 68 on March 9, 2019 in Port Orange, Florida, following a brief illness. Sue attended Valley Grove Schools for high school, later earning her GED, before going on to complete a Phlebotomy training course at Butler County Community College in 2003. She was a phlebotomist at UPMC Northwest until retiring in 2012. Sue was known for her generous and caring ways, and especially for her ability to engage just about anybody in lengthy conversation. Family meant everything to Sue, she always had a meal or home-baked sweets to share, and all were welcome at her dinner table. A longtime member of the Franklin V.F.W Ladies Auxiliary and Women of the Moose clubs, Sue often enjoyed an evening of dancing with friends to local bands. The annual Bluegrass Festival at the Venango County Coon & Fox club was one of her favorite traditions, she loved listening to the music around a good campfire. After finding a new home in Port Orange, FL in 2016, she quickly made friends, and found comfort in worship and fellowship at Restoration Church of Port Orange. Sue enjoyed spending time at the beach, and weekly lunch outings with friends, which included bargain-hunting at all the local thrift shops.Suzan was preceded in death by her sister, Beverly (Clark) Sloss; nephew, Jeffrey Sloss; maternal grandmother, Clara (Rivers) Carey; maternal grandfather, Vance Carey, and sister-in-law, Dixie Clark. She is survived by her son, Chad E. Clark of Franklin PA; daughters, Robin Clark-Arbogast, and husband John, of Plainfield NH and Lisa R. Clark of Santa Rosa CA; brothers, Howard W. Clark, Thomas "T.C." Clark, both of Franklin PA and Don Clark, and wife Kim, of Reno PA; sisters, Barbara (Clark) Wygant, and husband Tom, of Stoneboro PA, Patricia (Clark) Hoover of Oil City PA and Christina (Clark) McAninch, and husband Rich, of Franklin PA; granddaughters Melissa (Clark) Schmidt, and husband Rick, of Port Orange FL, Alexis Marie Clark and Courtney Lee Clark of Cooperstown PA; her beloved great-grandson, Julian Schmidt, and several aunts, uncles, cousins, and nieces & nephews in the Franklin, PA area.A Celebration of Sue's Life will be held at the Gardinier Funeral Home, Inc., 1315 Chestnut Street, Franklin on Saturday, May 11, 2019 from 11:00 am - 1:00 pm with a memorial service to immediately follow. Sue will then be laid to eternal rest in Old Sandy Cemetery, Polk, PA.   3. Melissa I am so sorry for your loss. Your grandma was such a great lady. I will always remember the little visits we had on my sidewalk or at Walmart. I will always remember her. I will not be able to make the memorial as I am working but you will be in my thoughts and prayers.

  4. Sue was like a sister to me, we met i 1967 from that day forward we did some funny and crazy things together in our life. We lived together with our kids. When ever I needed a place to stayed when I visit back home, she was there for me. When she moved to Port Orange, I went to visit her had some great times talking about the things we did in the pass.
