Erma A. Palmer, 86 of Cooperstown, passed away at 7:10 p.m. on Thursday, April 9th at Sugarcreek Station.Born July 4, 1928 in Polk, Erma was the daughter of the late George and Katherine Sorger Krizinsky. She was a U.S. Army Veteran, having served from 1955 until 1956 as a Medical Surgical Technician.Erma was a member of the North Sandy Presbyterian Church. She enjoyed flowers, and her "little" dogs. She especially cherished spending time and fishing with her dear friend, Bob Moon.Erma is survived by her dear friend, Robert M. Moon, Sr. of Cooperstown. She is also survived by her "family", whom she shared in raising, Robert Moon, Jr., and his wife, Pam, of Polk, Cindy Kober of Myrtle Beach, S. C., Rusty Moon and his wife, Connie, of Cooperstown, Kevin Moon and his wife, Traci, of Franklin, and Carrie Wright and her husband, Trevor, of Van. Erma is additionally survived by her brother, Frank Krizinsky and his wife, Barbara, of Polk; her nieces and nephews, Frank Krizinsky and his wife, Cheryl, of Polk, Audrey Beach of Polk, Cindy Krizinsky of Polk, and Fred Krizinsky, also of Polk; and numerous great-nieces and great-nephews.At Erma's request, there will be no visitation. The Gardinier Funeral Home, Inc., 1315 Chestnut Street, Franklin will be handling arrangements. Interment will be in the National Cemetery of the Alleghenies in Bridgeville, PA.The family suggests that memorial contributions be made to the local V.E.T.S.
