Robert Gene Bopp, 65, of Seneca, passed away peacefully at home on Monday, August 12, 2019.Born January 3, 1954 in Franklin, he was the son of the late Charles William and Ruby Pearl (Brown) Bopp.Gene's interests included collecting coins, studying military history, spending time with his cat, Smokey, and most of all, he loved anything to do with Harley Davidson Motorcycles and all things Harley. In his younger years, he took great joy in riding his motorcycle.Gene is survived by his brother, Sam Bopp; his sister, Deb Holland; his cousins, Jim and Andrea; an aunt; several uncles; several nieces and nephews; and his many loving friends.Also preceding him in death was his brother, Steve "Bill" Bopp; several aunts and uncles; and a great-nephew.A Wake in honor of Gene will be held on September 14, 2019 at the home of sister, Deb Holland, starting at 4 pm. I was sad to hear of Gene’s passing. He was a kind person with a great sense of humor. I was amazed that he could repeat word for word Frank Zappa on his albums. I will miss him as I still miss Billy. Hang in there Sam. Remember Eagle Street. Don Wierbinski.
