Virgil W. Keith, 88, of 1220 Chestnut Street, Franklin Towers, passed away on November 13, 2019.He was the son of the late Wallace and Lucy R. Keith, born on July 7, 1931, where he grew up in Galloway and attended Valley Grove Schools. Virgil enlisted in the United States Army, where he proudly served six years during the Korean War era before being Honorably Discharged in 1954.He was married to Jean B. Ritchey and she preceded him in death on December 2014. Virgil was employed as a truck driver for forty years. In his spare time, he enjoyed racing and helping his son and nephew with their cars.Surviving are his sister, Stella “Snook” Siverling of Seneca; his two sons, Eugene Keith of Paso Robles, CA, and James Keith of Titusville; his step-son, David L. Hall and his wife, Robin, of Franklin; and his step-daughter, Debra S. Reagle of Enon, OH.Virgil is further survived by his five grandchildren, William Reagle of Enon, OH; Heidi Matchett (Jason) of Sterling, VA, Christy Finegan (Dwayne) of Franklin, Chad M. Wilkinson of Franklin, David L. Hall, III (Sarah) of Mars, PA, Gretchen Stackhouse (Matthew) of Cooperstown, Tarra Hall of Franklin; his seven great-grandchildren, Aaron and Samuel Matchett, Nathan and Breann Finegan, David IV and Samuel Hall, and Drew Wilkinson; and by his sister-in-law, Lu Keith of Beaumont, TX.In addition to his parents and wife, Virgil was preceded in death by his step-son, Roland Heasley; his step-son-in-law, William Reagle; his two brothers, Lloyd Keith of Franklin, and Richard H. Keith of Beaumont, TX; and his sister, Grace Usoff of Woodlands, TX.As per the family's wishes, there will be no public visitation. So sorry to see this. He was the last of my Dads friends. I have such fond memories, from childhood through adult years of him teasing me, and all the stories he could tell. Always had to chat when we would run into each other at the grocery store. I will miss him, prayers to all the family.
