  1. I’m going to miss her so much, she was a great lady and wonderful friend. But she’s not suffering anymore, and Heaven has gained a beautiful angel. May you rest in peace Jean, till we meet again.

  2. Jean & Lew Griffin are 2 of the dearest people I ever met. We were friends when Lew & Bill McDaniel both worked at the Amalie Refinery. Although Lew always liked to tease, Jean was the quiet one & ever so kind at all times. Even when, over the years, we didn’t see as much of each other, when we did see each other at a public dinner, like at Utica, it was like old times again. Jean openly loved the Lord & she is part of the reason I love the Lord also. Such a sweet & gentle soul. Heaven has gained an angel. Lew will be in my prayers as I’m sure he will be lost without his love.

  3. Heaven has gained a wonderful addition. Have known Jean as far back as I can remember. She was a beautiful Christian lady. Our families were close for many years at Utica Presbyterian Church . Our sincerest condolences to Lewis, Linda and Diane and families. We are so sorry that we are not able to attend her funeral, but please be assured that you are in our thoughts and prayers. Diane and Ernie Yurkanin. ????

  4. My sincerest condolences to Mr. Griffin and family. Mrs. Griffin was so kind to me when I was growing up in Utica. I enjoyed attending District 6 and Missionary meetings as a “helper” because she always treated ‘Sam and Beaula’s granddaughters’ with such respect. She was my Sunday School teacher and I learned so much from her, including when Mister Griffin and us kids needed to settle down in the back of the church. 🙂 She was a true role model of an intelligent, loving, and compassionate lady. I will miss knowing she is in this world. Love Suzi Gehres Walters

I am so privileged to have known Jean. She worked so diligently in the Grange, District 6 Sabbath School Association, and the church. She was always so kind and giving. What a lovely lady.
    Love to Lewis.

  6. Jean will be missed. She was very pleasant and fun to be around. Because she stayed in most of the time. I did not get to know her that well.

  7. Such a beautiful woman inside and out. Always a smile and a positive impact on anyone who knew her.
We had the privilege to know both her and Lew threw our church. She will be sadly missed but our memories of her will live on forever. God Bless to all the family members.
