Mary Ann Huff, 81, of Franklin, was greeted at the gates of Heaven by her loved ones on Tuesday, February 12, 2019.Born on January 10, 1938 in Franklin, she was the daughter of the late Donald and Alice (Snyder) King. Mary Ann married the love of her life, Arthur E. Huff; he preceded her in death on December 15, 1998. Mary Ann spent most of her life working for Miller Equipment (now Honeywell) as a Supervisor for the Belt Department. She retired in 1998 after 25 years of working.In her spare time, Mary Ann kept herself busy and enjoyed the things she loved. She was a devoted Christian, and attended the Atlantic Avenue United Brethren Church in Franklin. She was also a member of the Rocky Grove Volunteer Fire Department Ladies Auxiliary. Mary Ann also enjoyed playing bingo and going to the casino.Most of all, Mary Ann cherished the time she spent with her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren.Mary Ann is survived by her 2 sons, Donald Huff and his wife, Jodi, and Arthur "Bud" Huff and his wife, Julia, both of Franklin; her four grandchildren, Alisha Cunningham and her husband, Bill, of Franklin, Bethany Beaumont and her special friend, Josh, of Senecaville, OH, Travis Huff of Franklin, and Alex Huff and his special friend, Hannah, of Franklin.She is further survived by her 5 great-grandchildren, Myranda, Brianna, Adelynn, Sophia, and Rowan; her two brothers, Donald F. King and wife, Garnet, and Gary King and his wife, Rhonda, both of Franklin; her nieces, Shelly, Deb, and Gretchen; her nephews, Bill, Tom, Rod, and Floyd; and her group of special friends.In addition to her husband and parents, Mary Ann was preceded in death by her infant son, Robert Huff; her son, Larry Huff; her sister, Beverly Johnson; and her brother-in-law, Floyd Johnson.Family and friends will be received on Friday, February 15, 2019 at the Atlantic Avenue United Brethren Church, 160 Atlantic Avenue, Franklin, PA 16323, from 1 pm to 4 pm.Funeral services for Mary Ann will be held following visitation on Friday, February 15, 2019 at the Atlantic Avenue United Brethren Church, starting at 4 pm, with Reverend Pat Daugherty and Reverend Brad Riddle, both pastors of the church, co-officiating.Interment will be held at Sunset Hill Memorial Gardens.Memorial contribution can be made in Mary Ann's name to the Atlantic Avenue United Brethren Church, 160 Atlantic Ave, Franklin, PA 16323; to the American Cancer Society, 1004 North Juniata Street, Hollidaysburg, PA 16448; and/or to the Venango Visiting Nurses Foundation, 491 Allegheny Blvd, Franklin, PA 16323.To send flowers, cards, online condolences, or for further information, family and friends are invited to visit www.gardinierfuneralhome.com.

  1. My thoughts are with the family of Mary Ann. I really loved her and always enjoyed chatting with her when we ran into each other when shopping or at Bingo. She always had a smile on her face and was happy to see me and chat. She will be missed greatly by family and friends. Hopefully she is yelling BINGO at this time. Love you Mary Ann.

  11. I am so sorry to hear of Mary Ann. I want to send my condolences to all. She was , no doubt a special women always smiling. To know she is with the Lord brings comfort.

  12. Dear Julia, Buddy and Alex: We have such fond memories of Mary Ann, sitting with her in the shade of the booth watching our grandsons play baseball. We had fun conversations and so enjoyed getting to know one another. Please know our thoughts and prayers are with you three nice, nice people and all your family during this difficult and sad time.   13. I worked with Mary Ann for several years & also spent time with her outside of work. She was such a joy to be around. Kindness to EVERYONE , & would do ALL she could to pick you up. I honestly can say I NEVER saw her angry in all the years I’ve known her.
    She was a customer of ours at Walz Tire & the guys were always glad to see her smiling face.
