I am saddened to hear that your mom passed away, she was one of my favorite people to visit with at the Caring Place. She always knew me, of course sometimes she would think I was my Mom, she would tell me stories about my Dad, her brothers when they were young. Othe r times she would talk about the card club and the time she spent with my mom and other ladies from Cooperstown…she will be very missed.. sending love and prayers for you all
Lillian was a warm, caring lady and I always enjoyed visiting with her when my mother and I would go to her shop to have our hair done. So very sorry for you loss.

I’m truly sorry for your loss. No doubt her memories will sustain you for many years. There is a future hope for all the loved ones we’ve lost in death. Notice what John 5:28,29 says: “Do not be amazed at this, for the hour is coming in which all those in the memorial tombs will hear his voice and come out, those who did good things to a resurrection of life.”
I last had the chance to visit with Aunt Lillian this past October and as always, she greeted me with loving recognition and affection. We talked a little about the painting in her room and just chatted a few minutes. She loved to give little snippets about her life, such as remembering when the family moved to the farm near Bradleytown in 1941 and she had to help fix up the chicken coop attached to the house (now the laundry room) by pulling nails and cleaning it out.
We talked about the late 60s when Tim had left for the army and Vietnam and I mowed the big lawn in front of her Cooperstown house – always on the diagonal. And about Uncle Bill’s times in the service in Alaska and the letters they wrote to keep in touch – much less efficient than keeping in touch today.
I’ll miss my dear aunt and our chats deeply. I know all she came in contact with in her many family and business relationships have been blessed by her life.
Love, Steve Snyder
