Marjorie A. Martin-Reese, 69, of Reno, passed away on Wednesday, May 29, 2019 in the early hours of the morning surrounded by her family.Born on October 9, 1949, she was the daughter of the late Frederick Martin and the former Lillian Oakes.Marjorie was a strong independent woman who worked hard. She had a confident character that exuded perseverance and diligence throughout her life. She was a grandmother who loved and delighted in her grandchildren. She lived boldly. Her strength was profound even to her death. She is loved by her family and will be greatly missed.  Left to cherish her memory are her three daughters, Tenisha Martin and Heather Martin, both of Reno, Athena Lamey and her husband, Gordon, of Titusville; her step-son, James Reese and his wife, Rene, of Florida; her step-daughter, Kimberly Reese-Parapi and her husband, Luis, of New Jersey; her 8 grandchildren; her three sisters, Dianna Black of Texas, Ann Blair of Oil City, and Anna Goetsch and her husband, Shane, of Iowa; her brother, Leland Black and his wife, Jessie, of Oil City; and her many aunts, uncles, nieces, and nephews.In addition to her parents, Marjorie was preceded in death by her husband, Albert Reese; her son, Anthony Wayne Michael; her brother, Clayton Black; and her two sisters, Joyce Rewerts and Annette Flanary.Family and friends will be received on Saturday, June 1, 2019 at the Gardinier Funeral Home, Inc., 1315 Chestnut Street, Franklin, PA 16323, from 12 pm to 1 pm.Funeral services for Marjorie will be held following visitation at the funeral home on Saturday, June 1, 2019 starting at 1 pm, with Reverend Jerry Lamey, pastor of the Titusville Branch Fellowship Church, officiating.Interment will be held at Lamey Cemetery.To send flowers, cards, online condolences, or for further information, family and friends are invited to visit www.gardinierfuneralhome.com.
