William Earl Goodman, 54, of Oil City, passed away unexpectantly on Friday, August 24, 2018 in his home.He was the son of Raymond A. Goodman, Sr. and Sharyn Cauvel-Rinker. He especially enjoyed fishing and the outdoors.William is survived by his mother and step-father, Daniel L. Rinker of Franklin; his significant other, Tammy Sharpe; his stepson, Jeffrey Feely, Jr. of Oil City; his daughter, Emily Mae Goodman of Scranton; his step-daughter Jennifer Cottrell and her husband, Richard, of Oil City; and his grandchildren, Cadence and Caycee Cottrell, and Chelsea Feely, all of Oil City, and Mariah Denny and Donovan Kightlinger, both of Franklin.He is further survived by his two brothers, Raymond Goodman, Jr. of Franklin, and Mike Goodman and his wife, Lori, of Tylersburg; and his three sisters, Kimberly Goodman of Franklin, Anisa Pyle and her husband, Wayne, of Franklin, and Shelly Goodman of Shippenville.William was preceded in death by his father, Raymond A. Goodman, Sr., both sets of grandparents, and numerous aunts and uncles.A Memorial Service will be held in William's honor on Friday, August 31, 2018 at 11 a.m. at the St. John's Episcopal Church, 1145 Buffalo Street, Franklin, PA with Mother Elizabeth Yale officiating.   1. I’ll never forget the huge role you played in my life as I was growing up. You did a lot for my mother and me and especially my mom and I admire you more for all you’ve ever done for her & us. Your very greatly missed!!! It’s definitely different without you here.. Kinda hard to believe your gone and just not down the street at the store. Don’t worry about mom, I got her.. rest peacefully!! And until we all meet again watch over us crazies!??

  4. I have known Billy for years. Since in the late 70’s as he would visit his Dad “Goody” on Grove Ave. with his sister,Then later in life he lived with my ex niece Tammy. My heart and condolences goes out to both family and friends of a very nice young man, taken away too early in life. He will be greatly missed by all whom ever got the chance to meet him. Prayers for help and guidance through this tough time.

  6. I was shocked to hear of Bill;s passing. Your family has been through so much in the past year. As a 10th St. family it’s hard to grasp. Keep his memories close and he’ll be with you always.
